DSM
DYNAMIC SERVER MANAGEMENT (DSM)

DSM is a software package based on Client/Server interaction, which consists of two types of components.  The client computer and the server.  The “client computer”, computer used by the user, connects to a “server” or host computer on which the desired information resides.
The “server” or host is the computer that houses the data or information; it is not necessarily a dedicated computer, it can be any PC, laptop in any platform, Unix, Linux, etc.

What DSM actually does is, it displays the screen of the server computer onto the screen of the client’s.  This is similar to a New window, but with all the capabilities that the server computer has.
