The GWBOX - Workstation is a high-end microcomputer designed for technical or scientific applications. Intended primarily to be used by more then one person at a time, they are commonly connected to a local area network and run multi-user operating systems.
The GWBOX - Workstation Features
high Memory up tp 64GB
12 TB SAS or SATA , hard disk drive
up to 4 PCI-X 16x, 2GB video cards , 8 VGA or DVI Display Ports
OS Linux 64 bit, or Windows 2008 R2 64 bit
The GWBOX - server is used quite broadly in information technology. Despite the many Server branded products available (such as Server editions of Hardware, Software and/or Operating Systems), in theory any computerised process that shares a resource to one or more client processes is a Server. To illustrate this, take the common example of File Sharing. While the existence of files on a machine does not classify it as a server, the mechanism which shares these files to clients by the operating system is the Server.
The GWBOX - Server Features
4 CPU in a U1, U2, U3 or U4 Memory up to 128GB
8, 6 or 4 Cores per CPU
SAS, SSD, Fiver Channel disk drives
The GWBOX - Clusters cluster is a group of linked U1 node, working together closely so that in many respects they form a single computer.
